Just pull it away from the wall detach the drain hose from the wall and aim it into a bucket. Position the drain hose as low as possible and into a floor drain if possible to empty the water. Unplug the washing machine from the power source. Your washer may contain from 5 to 10 gallons of water. To get the water out from the very bottom of your washer disconnect the drain hose from the wall. The washer pump forces water from the bottom of the machine into the drain hose.

Let the water drain until it stops. Duct tape the power cord to the top of the machine to avoid splashing it with. Turn off the water to the washing machine supply lines. Switch the power button on the machine off if your model has one.

To drain turn off the water supply faucets and then disconnect the hoses from the water supply. The drain hose loops to the top of the machine and then down to the drain enabling the tub to fill. Next remove the washer drain hose from the drain put the hose on the floor and let the water drain into a bucket or pan. Close the shut off valves disconnect the washing machine hoses then open the valves again to drain the lines.
